Consumer Behaviour & its Effect on Businesses
The last year has been one of drastic change and development with the effects of the coronavirus instantly changing how we live our day to day lives. With the immediate closures of ‘non-essential’ retail stores, restaurants, pubs, and gyms (amongst many), came a huge shift in consumer behaviour.
We wanted to explore how consumer behaviour has changed, the effects it has had on both the consumer purchasing cycle and on those businesses that exist to serve them in particular markets. Looking at the categories of: retail, automotive, technology, healthcare and fitness we will uncover key priorities for each market.
