Rare Featured in BDO Restaurant & Bar Report
In July we were invited to contribute and to take part in BDO’s latest report on the Restaurant and Bar sector. The report deals with many different macro topics that those operating in the Restaurant and Bar sector are acutely aware of. It provides a compelling overview of the main trends to be aware of in the sector and includes insight from BDO’s Heads of Retail and M&A. In short if you work or are interested in this sector then it’s a must read.
In our write up for the report we draw upon our own research to highlight the difference between how loyalty is defined by those working in marketing and the customers themselves. We also uncover the true drivers of customer loyalty and discuss where the modern-day loyalty schemes add value to the customer experience. Finally we discuss how customer experience expectations are set from inside and outside an operator's category, and as such, those working in the Restaurant and Bar industry need to be aware of the developments in other sectors.

We were also very lucky to take part in their latest event, BDO, Barclays and Fourth Restaurants and Bars Forum 2017, an event full of interesting people and talks. We learnt a lot from the most experienced in the sector, and we hope we also brought some interesting insights to the room.
Definitely worth keeping an eye on BDO’s future events.
